FLU

           Flu is caused due to influenza viruses. This flu virus infection triggers inflammation in our body, severe inflammation can cause lung damage and other serious problems.

-It can cause mild to severe illness and at a times can lead to death.
-It is a contagious disease. (means it can be spread from one person to another person usually by sneezing or through coughing in the form of droplets).
-It is a viral infection it primarily affects the upper respiratory tract, nose, throat, and lungs.

Symptoms:

  • Fever.
  • Cough.
  • Sore throat.
  • Runny nose/stuffy nose.
  • Muscle/body aches.
  • Fatigue.
  • Sometimes loss of weight…
  • Joint pain.
  • Flu symptoms usually come on suddenly.
